Equilibrium took part in the fifth edition of the Roman market “Sexaginta Prista” in Ruse and managed to raise 289 leva. The items that were offered were handmade souvenirs and articles.
They were produced by the children who use the different services that our organisation manages – children and young adults with disabilities, the youngsters from the Centre for Street Children in the complex. The herbs, offered at the bazaar, are grown by the children in the Pink house and at the complex, as well as in the “adopted” herb garden in Zahari Stoyanov House-Museum.
We would like to thank again all participants and guests of the Roman market and the organizers and hosts of this unique event – Ruse Regional Historical Museum.
The funds will be used for the children and young adults from the services EQ manages – the small-group home for children and young adults and the Centre for Social Rehabilitation and Integration in Byala, the two small-group homes “Love” and “Hope”, the integrated children’s services “Slancho” in the former home for medical and social care for children which consists of the family-type accommodation for children with disabilities in need of constant medical care, the baby unit and the day centre for children with disabilities, as well as the oldest service – managed by EQ – the complex for children and families.
You support our mission for every child to have a happy childhood at home – affection, safety and development.
The charitable bazaars provide the means needed for the better quality of life of the children who use our services. They also provide an opportunity for local people to understand the work we do and how they can help us care for the most vulnerable members of the community.
