The year of the blue wooden horse, in accordance to the Chinese calendar, brought 325 leva from a charity event organized by the artist Ognian Balkandjiev and actor Ilia Devedjiev in Mall Ruse. Both are partners and great friends of ours from the Arena Media team.

Having first decided to use their combined talents for charitable purposes last year, the guys decided to raise funds for Equilibrium this year. Both have worked with young clients of the Ruse complex and the cause is close to their hearts.

The money will be used to cover the cost of special therapy for the children from the Pink House. This is a very important gesture and a big help the Small Group Home (“Pink House”) where the budget is tight.

Kinesitherapy is vital for the disabled children we look after and, in particular, we now have two children from the specialized children’s institution in Shumen living with us and they require intensive care and rehabilitation due to their severe conditions.

For us this is a very kind gesture of pure altruism, since the initiative is entirely of their own – Ogi and Ilia’s.

With great pleasure we awarded them a well deserved certificate: “Brave maker of good deeds”, because they really are!
