On 8th June, Galya and David Bisset hosted a short ceremony at “Brothers Grimm” kindergarten in Sofia.

The relationship with the kindergarten has developed over a period of almost 4 years and involved the exploration of Danish early years’ teaching practice presented by a team from  VIA University College.

At our short ceremony, we presented an Equilibrium award to Petya Yosifova, the director showing our pleasure at the creation of a teaching environment in which free play is valued for its contribution to learning and development.

Members of the team watched short films produced by our media partners Arena Media that shows a blend of play and pedagogy largely taking place in the upgraded outdoor play area that was partly funded by Equilibrium.
