The major Bulgarian holiday – St. Dimitrov’s Day – brought the children and young people from the “Pink House” great news. They received a donation from people who understand their needs and want to make their lives better. @Evelina Petkova from the town of Byala gave them specially prepared bedroom sets, blankets, towels, hats and scarves, washing powder and various consumables, fruits and treats, which she prepared together with her friends. Evelina is a third-year student who is studying social pedagogy part-time at the University of Ruse “Angel Kanchev”. In her first year, during an internship at the Pink House, she learned about these children and their life in the small-group home. Then came the idea to personally bring more comfort and beauty into their daily lives. Together with her friends – the agricultural producers @ Dimitar Shishkov and @ Julian Hvarchilkov, @ Dr. Galina Arasheva, @ Petar Dyakov – a student, @ Antoaneta Rankova and others she fulfilled her plan.
On behalf of the staff and children from the “Pink House” and the Equilibrium team we say: “Thank you very much!”, Joining all of you and our friends! Be healthy and continue to give joy and faith to people in need!
