This year, we raised the sum of 3410 leva in pre-Christmas fundraising that both reflected our birthday mood and commemorated 10 years dedicated to providing children with a better start in life with a focus on the sanctity of the family.
This success would not have been possible without the support of targeted grants and the generosity of many partners and friends of Equilibrium. The managers of Ruse Mall provided space. Excellent organizational support and publicity and we owe a great deal to the Bulgarian Centre for Non-Profit Law and the America for Bulgaria Foundation.
We are indebted to those who actively took part in the bazaar – Arena Media, Ruse Regional History Museum, Sveti Milanova (unique removable tattoos), Lilia Mezhri ( beautiful jewelry) and Delyana Vassileva (Christmas manicures and beauty therapy). Volunteers manned a huge variety of stalls and events – Annie, Katya, Simon and Georgi, students from the Professional School of Fashion and Arts School. The list of participants is long and they will all receive a special certificate “Blagotvorets Harbor”.
The funds raised will be used to buy specialized rehabilitation equipment for the Pink House.
A second grade class from the Friedrich Schiller School spent months accumulating coins in a jar under the watchful eye of class teacher, Margarita Petrova, so as to provide Christmas treats for young clients of the complex.
