On 31st May, 2013, together with young volunteers from the Bulgarian Red Cross, the complex for social services for children and families hosted an event in anticipation of the national day of the child traditionally celebrated on 1st June.

Prominent among the young participants were foster families and other young clients of the centre of social support who joined the humorous games and competitions that included “Twister” and guessing games, face painting and dressing as clowns. The event culminated in an open-microphone session allowing volunteers to sing or make recitations before bags of treats were distributed to all the children.
