The second, improved version of our unprecedented Charity Bazaar in the Complex for Social Services for Children and Families raised 1006.65 leva and lots of supporters and friends
A motley gang of over 30 employees, friends and partners of Equilibrium took part as volunteers to raise funds for the summer programme for the young clients of the clients of the complex.
Attracted by the cause, lots of people came to the Charity Bazaar and went home smiling and happy with their purchases and because they have helped children at risk.
Handmade jewelry and accessories, aromatic pillows for a restful sleep, unique ceramic bracelets for good health, success and love, drawings with the smell of a sea of the artist Ognyan Balkandzhiev, home baking and fresh drinks are just a small part of the huge variety of products, offered at the Bazaar.
Our partners and friends from Open Society Club – Ruse shaped a colorful stand with textile baskets, Lora’s unique knitted butterflies, Miki’s antique gramophone records and last but not at least – nail decorations of Danny.
The entertaining Casino drew lots of people with funny requests – “Guess the number of the candies”, “Guess the name of the Teddy-bear” and “Guess the weight of the cake”. However, the children were more attracted by the mysterious sack – a lucky dip.
Galya Bisset gave an opportunity to everybody who wished to come true his/her children desire and to make alone a beautiful and delicious cotton candy. Her massage centre attracted many of the guests of the Bazaar.
One of the most successful and attractive stands sold crafts made by young clients from the Centre for Street Children – butterflies, pencil holders from natural materials and pictures made from cereals.
We are enormously grateful for the time and effort invested by our partners and friends who supported our idea and made the Bazaar unique, colourful and successful – Youth Section of Friends of the Museum Association, Professional School of Design, European Languages School, Bulgarian Mothers Movement, foster parents, volunteers, colleagues and friends! Thank you for the professional assistance of our friends from Arena Media!
