It is wonderful to forget a little about lessons when spring is in the air! Moreover, the 2011 school holiday was a little longer than usual.
But children don’t always know what to do when they have so much time on their hands. Therefore, the team at the complex decided to help children to diversify their holiday routine and organized a bunch of interesting activities for participants aged 6 to 18 years.
Under the expert guidance of our activity coordinators, the youngsters learned to paint on glass, each producing their own unique work of art.
The sedentary crafts were followed by boisterous racing games with prizes for the winners.
The next day was all about Quilling, our trademark recently. This unleashed the youthful imaginations in the creation of beautiful cards and gift boxes.
The visit at the Hippodrome was very exciting, and although no one dared to ride, there was a demonstration of show-jumping and the grooms showed us how we can feed the horses with sugar cubes. The bravest children showed to the more timid participants (adults included) that there was nothing to be frightened of.
More indoor activity next day. We went to the cinema complex at Ruse Mall and enjoyed the cartoons and we’d like to thank the management team at mall for their continuing support of our activities.
On the final day, after making carnival masks, the children joined our good friend, Ilya Devadjiev, who led games followed by a disco-and-karaoke session that was huge fun children and adults alike. Our media partners, Arena Media, provided the sound equipment. Thanks to Ven Mihov for acting as DJ.
A fantastic team effort by all the adults involved. Many, many thanks.
