The verticalizer was provided thanks to the campaign, organized by Hearts without Borders Foundation, with a chairman Diana Poptoneva, and Equilibrium. The verticalizer is available to all children and young adults with movement disorders – CP (cerebral palsy) and muscle weakness – who can come, accompanied by their therapist, to the rehabilitation room in the Pink house at 66 “Neofit Rilski” Str.
This has been made possible thanks to many people from Ruse, who took part in the charitable review-cocktail in Riga hotel, organized by Mrs. Diana Poptoneva and Hearts without Borders Foundation.
We would like to thank everyone, who supported this generous initiative and provided the possibility for rehabilitation, correct seated position and improvement of the physical activity of children with movement disorders. The verticalizer has a very favorable effect on the whole body – its usage improves the activity of all human organs and systems and prevents the negative and potentially lethal consequences of continuous lying in the wrong position, imposed by the condition, and subsequent congestive processes in the organism. The device can be adapted and adjusted according to the specific needs and characteristics of the child, i.e. it can be used by more than one child.
Special thanks go to the fashion models from “Elit – D models” agency and the veteran fashion models from the recent past; the Bulgarian Wrestling Federation that donated greater part of the sum total, needed for the purchase of the verticalizer; BTB – Bulgaria AD, “Antoan Vil”, Mrs. Mariela Licheva and all participants – guests and benefactors at the event.
