OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAAt the invitation of the Zonta Club – Ruse on September 5, 2014, a group of social activists / philanthropists from France visited the Ruse complex.

For a number of years, donations from France have been channelled through the Zonta Club for the benefit of the elderly and infirm and children deprived of parental care – clothing, toiletries, orthopaedic beds and furniture.

On this occasion, their focus was the services managed by EQ.

During their meeting with the management team and the complex, our guests learned about the range and effectiveness of our work children at risk and their families.

The study visit also included a tour of the Pink House. Aware of the fact that most of the older children came from the Mogilino home, many of the guests were amazed by the development, growth and social capability of the children.

The visit led to no small contribution to the complex – second hand clothes, strollers and baby beds, which are particularly important to work on prevention of abandonment of babies. Was granted a medical bed second hand, which “Equilibrium” forward for the use of Rousse Municipality as one of the centers for children in family-type accommodation.

The guests were amazed by the rapid development of the deinstitutionalization process in Rousse. The effect of the closure of the House for medical care for children, led to the closure of Home “Hope”, and indirectly to the closure of Home “Raina Gateva.” French delighted to discover that it can continue to help, but now directly supporting families in the community, so that they can raise their children at home.
