EQ has had a close relationship with the Complex for Social Services in Ruse since it was first created contributing to staff training, technical assistance and events organization for the younger clientele.
As of 1st July, 2009 we took over the management of the facility and the wide range of social services provided in and around this community hub. We will work in concert with the Open Society Club – old friends – and together we’ve launched an ambitious programme covering training, staff development and the streamlining of services so as to create a true Centre of Excellence.
The Pink House is the home for seven children and young adults transferred from the Mogilino home for the disabled that gained notoriety on the basis of a TV broadcast in Great Britain towards the end of 2007. EQ now cares for the youngsters managing holistic, individual care plans (including physical rehabilitation, education and social integration) designed to maximize the potential of each child.
