The children, with whom Equilibrium works, are looking forward to the summer camps and the summer activities at the Complex for Social Services.
Some of the kids from CSC (Centre for Street Children) are already at the seaside in Tyulenovo for a week. Right after they are back, refreshed and recharged with positive emotions, the rest of the children from CSC will go there.

Youngsters from the centre for street children have been learning about the species of birds that inhabit the banks of the River Danube as part of a project dedicated to the sustainable development of the region.
The children studied bird behavior through binoculars and learned how different species flock together and fly in migratory groups that form different patterns.
The children also spent time in the natural history museum looking at exhibits that show the habitats of aquatic creatures.
The project focuses on Positive Parenting and prevention of aggression among or directed towards very young children. The information centre Europe Direct has had a long association with EQ and during 2015 this partnership provided a number of opportunities for our personnel and the children we work with.
The summer programme for the young clients from the cente for street children included a project called “Young Europeans” that involved collaboration with Europe Direct. Children took part in a number of competitions and we are grateful for the gifts of child-oriented literature on European integration and textbooks.
EQ has strong links with Moldova and during 2015 we hosted a visit by a group from the country’s capital, Chisinau. The visit was facilities by colleagues and friends from the organisation CCF-Moldova and representatives were drawn from the city’s child protection system.
