At the international conference for “Social Economy as an Effective Model for Social Inclusion” in the “Golden Sands” resort, “Equilibrium” received an award for its effective fundraising model from the National Alliance for Social Responsibility.

In April 2018 the “Kids Voice” project of “Equilibrium” began. It is financially supported by the Operational Program “Human Resources Development” and implemented by the “Equilibrium” NGO.
The activities include children and parents of Roma origin living in “Sredna kula” district, Ruse. Part of the target group activities are two clubs: “Toys library” and “I was a child”. On the first of June, children using the social services of the Complex managed by “Equilibrium” took part in a festival organized by the Center for Civil Support and the municipality of “Dve Mogili” – “Orlova chuka singing and dancing, different but together”, which is held for the second consecutive year.

First of June is the sunniest day of the year for the kids. To celebrate this day, there was a party filled with lots of fun and games, music and dancing in the center “Slancho”, managed by “Equilibrium”.

The youngsters from the two family-based centers “Love” and “Hope” managed by “Equilibrium”, had a feast.
Petya was decorating the yard with balloons and helping the nurses with the organization of the event. It was a surprise for everyone – the music, the decorations and all the smiles around. The youngsters were listening to favorite tunes, dancing and singing. Masterpieces were made with chalk on the ground. It was a celebration for everyone from both teams of the houses.
On 29th and 30th May, an assortment of 11 professionals came together at Equilibrium’s early years’ centre in Ruse to hear workshop leader, David Bisset, explain how “it takes great discipline to be as undisciplined” as he is. On the 9th of May 2018, the association of “Equilibrium” presented its newest project. It is called “Kids voice” – № BG05M9OP001-4.001-0089 and the opening event was at Hall number 1 of the Regional Administration in the city of Ruse.

Children from the German High School in Ruse with a charitable donation for children at risk
