Successful and funny was the participation of the children with disabilities from “Love” and “Hope” at the festival “The world is for everyone”!

For a second year in a row UBB bank presented the kids from the complex with books, sports items, games and sweets.
Thanks to the bank’s initiative and all its branches in Ruse – “Give a sparkle” – the employees raise funds for children at risk on the occasion of the Day of the National Leaders. This year the initiative broadens and besides books the children received balls, feather balls, teaching materials and sweets.

A sound system – two speakers with stands, two microphones and additional equipment – is a gift from friends of EQ Iliya Devedjiev and Andrey Totev. The two authors of “A little night madhouse” raised the funds during the summer when famous actor, Georgi Damyanov, took part in their play.

Equilibrium provides 20 children from Ruse with hippotherapy with the support of “Help for Charity in Bulgaria” Foundation and thanks to TBI’s campaign “Sport for a better life for children”.

With the help of BCause Foundation, employees from the company support the activities of the complex for the second time. For the eleventh year in a row the complex for social services became the host of a creepy assemblage of demons, ghosts, vampires, werewolves and other creatures spreading out fear, panic and terror.

The birthday party was colourful and joyful. Rasim from the family-type home for children in Byala and Raya – a volunteer, accompanied by Aleksandar Panayotov, took part in the autumn children’s rights school in Sofia from 16th to 21st September. This was the first of a series of initiatives which are pursued for young children throughout the country under Megaphone programme in which Equilibrium is participating.

Equilibrium took part in the fifth edition of the Roman market “Sexaginta Prista” in Ruse and managed to raise 289 leva. The items that were offered were handmade souvenirs and articles.
They were produced by the children who use the different services that our organisation manages – children and young adults with disabilities, the youngsters from the Centre for Street Children in the complex.
