Life in the Pink house is wonderful, but life in nature is unequalled. From 05.07.2016 to 10.07.2016 the children and young adults from the Pink house had the opportunity to enjoy the unique unspoiled beach in Tjulenovo, where Equilibrium’s sea base is.

10 young adults from “Hope” attended a summer camp in Lipnik park in Nikolovo village from 02 to 09 July, 2016. This was accomplished thanks to the charity bazaars, organized by Equilibrium this year.
The holiday camp was organized with the support of Ruse Municipality which provided the housing in Nikolovo.

The children, with whom Equilibrium works, are looking forward to the summer camps and the summer activities at the Complex for Social Services.
Some of the kids from CSC (Centre for Street Children) are already at the seaside in Tyulenovo for a week. Right after they are back, refreshed and recharged with positive emotions, the rest of the children from CSC will go there.

ADRA Bulgaria’s project “Children Helping Children” provided the basis for the provision of Easter gifts to the young adults in our care in our family-type accommodation. The project “Sport without boundaries”, undertaken by “Zora” kindergarten, “Equilibrium”, and CFC “Dragons”, provided children with special educational needs with a sports festival, which took place in the sports hall of “Zora” on 04.05.2016. The project was accomplished with the financial support of the Municipal Foundation “Ruse – city of free spirit.

Our charity campaign that took place in the week leading up to Easter once again proved the sensitivity and concern of local people for children and families at risk. The support provided was phenomenal.
On 26rh April, the Heart without Borders Association hosted a fashion show / cocktail event in Riga Hotel to raise funds that will enable us to buy a special piece of rehabilitation equipment called a verticalizer. (It costs almost 5000 leva). We care for 47 children… Continue reading
